Steam lists Windows 10, 16 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce 2060 or AMD Radeon 5600 XT, DirectX 12 and 60 GB of storage as the Online: 404 minimum. The recommended tier moves to Windows 11 and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon 6750 XT. The processor and memory lines are identical in both tiers.

Minimum system requirements

The minimum tier requires a 64-bit processor and operating system running Windows 10. Steam lists an Intel i5-12400F or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor with 16 GB of RAM. Graphics are listed as an NVIDIA GeForce 2060 or AMD Radeon 5600 XT.

DirectX version 12 is required. The game needs 60 GB of available storage space. These figures come directly from the Steam store data checked on October 17, 2026.

Recommended system requirements

The recommended tier also requires a 64-bit processor and operating system, but lists Windows 11. The processor line is unchanged at an Intel i5-12400F or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. Memory stays at 16 GB of RAM.

The main step up is graphics, which moves to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon 6750 XT. DirectX 12 and 60 GB of available storage are listed again. The store does not say which resolution or frame rate each tier targets.

What the two tiers share

Both tiers list the same processors and the same 16 GB of memory. That makes the graphics card and the Windows version the only differences between them. If your CPU and RAM meet the minimum, the GPU is the part to compare first.

The 60 GB storage figure is also identical across tiers. Leave room beyond that number for Early Access patches, which the developer plans to keep releasing while it works toward version 1.0. A solid-state drive is not mentioned in the store requirements.

Supported platforms and features

Steam data marks Online: 404 as a Windows game only, with no macOS or Linux requirements listed. A Steam Deck compatibility rating was not established in the checked data. Console and mobile plans are covered in separate platform articles.

The store lists single-player and online co-op, Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. It also lists Save Anytime support. Co-op details are explained further in the multiplayer article.

Before you buy

On October 17, 2026, the Steam page still showed the game as coming soon with no price displayed. The developer said the Early Access launch was waiting for Steam to approve a revised trailer. Requirements can change during Early Access, so check the live store page before purchasing.

The release-date article tracks the delayed launch. The price article covers the developer’s reduced Early Access pricing policy. The Steam article explains how to identify the correct store listing.
