Online: 404 Download & Install

Online: 404 is downloaded through Steam after you buy the Early Access release, which went live on October 21, 2026. Steam requires a 64-bit Windows system with DirectX 12 and 60 GB of free space. There is no official mobile or console download, and the free June demo is no longer the way to play.

The official download source

Cornfield Games develops and publishes Online: 404 through its Steam listing, app 4094350. Buying the game adds it to your Steam library, where the Install button starts the download. No other store is named on the official page.

Steam lists a regular price of $17.99 with a 15% introductory discount to $15.29. The page says the offer ends on November 4, 2026. Regional prices can differ, so check the amount shown to your own account.

Check your PC before installing

The minimum requirement is Windows 10, and Windows 11 is recommended. Steam also requires a 64-bit processor and operating system plus DirectX 12. Older 32-bit systems are therefore not supported.

Reserve 60 GB of available storage before you press Install. Steam does not publish a separate download size on the store page. The system requirements article lists the CPU, GPU and RAM tiers in full.

Downloads to avoid

There is no official Android, iPhone, Xbox or PlayStation release. The smartphone in the game is a survival tool, not a mobile version. Pages offering an APK or a console file are not linked from the official listing.

The free demo ran as a separate Steam app in June 2026. Its public window was announced as limited to the end of that month. The demo article explains its history, but the Early Access game is now the current build.

What you get after the download

Steam tags the game as Single-player and Online Co-op. You can survive alone or invite friends for team play. The multiplayer article covers the official player count.

The listing supports English plus eight more languages. It also warns that Early Access players may still meet bugs and other issues. Read the reviews article to see what launch-day players reported before you buy.
